A federal judge is giving absentee ballots more time to make it to local clerks offices.
If they’re postmarked by election day on November 3rd, clerks can count them for up to six more days.
Unless a higher court overturns the ruling, it’s likely people won’t know the results of the presidential race for almost a week.
Democrats and other groups filed a lawsuit, pushing for the extension.
