It was a record summer for home sales in the state.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association is reporting a nearly three percent increase from the previous high set last year.
Economist David Clark says a big month in July made the difference, because June’s numbers were down slightly. August sales were up 0.7 percent from a year ago.
The median price jumped 14.1 percent, to $235,000.
In the northeast region, sales were down one percent, and the median price was up 13.5 percent, to nearly $200,000.
