The Oshkosh School District moves to online learning for all grade levels today.
Superintendent Vickie Cartwright is not optimistic that kids will be returning to the classroom any time soon. She says between Friday of last week and Monday of this week there was a 137 percent increase in the number of people having to quarantine or isolate in the district. As of yesterday, 710 students or staff were quarantined or isolated.
The district had started the year with elementary students in class every day while middle and high schoolers alternated in-person and virtual learning.
