An economic development group wants to reach out to local companies to see how they’re doing.
Jayme Sellen of the Fox Cities Regional Partnership says they’re hoping to check in, to talk about retaining jobs and possible expansions. She hopes they could do 80 to 100 visits a year.
Sellen says they already have a list of about 350 businesses that they’re targeting. She says they would also sit down with companies that lay off workers, and others in the same industry, in hopes of avoiding more job cuts.
