The Food and Drug Administration warns an Appleton doctor to stop promising results from unapproved treatments. The letter sent to Doctor Michael Johnson at Optimal Health and Wellness cites claims on the clinic’s website that he can treat various phyical conditions with cells from human umbilical cords. The F-D-A adds that the treatment procedures are not approved–despite claims on the website. Johnson is also allegedly performing treatments for which he is not licensed. The doctor has thirty days to answer those claims.
