The Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade is canceled. The organizers’ Facebook page made the announcement Monday night. The group is promoting a new event–“Santa Claus is Coming to Appleton”–which will see Santa visit neighborhoods throughout the city in November and December–accompanied by Appleton Police and Fire crews. That tour will begin on November 24th.
