Wisconsin sets a new single-day record for COVID-related deaths. The State Department of Health Services reports 48-deaths today–bringing the total to 1,681. Outagamie and Waupaca Counties reported four deaths. Winnebago and Fond du Lac Counties had two. Calumet county saw one death.
There were 4,205 positive tests today. The positivity rate set a new single day record of 42.5%. The number of hospitalizations has reached 1,192–with 315 people in intensive care. Sixteen percent of hospital beds are still open.
Brown County had 230 news cases. Outagamie County had 157. Winnebago County added 84 new cases. Calumet County was up by 46 and Fond du Lac County had 53.
