Members of the State Elections Commission have concerns about Outagamie County’s plan to deal with misprinted ballots.
Earlier this week County Clerk Lori O’Bright revealed that potentially thousands of ballots sent to absentee voters had a small error in one of the timing marks that would prevent the voting machines from counting them on election night. O’Bright plans to have her poll workers recreate the votes on properly printed ballots, but Commissioner Dean Knudson fears that will take too long.
Knudson recommends that Outagamie County just use pens to correct the timing mark on the faulty ballots and feed them into the machines to save time.
