The Appleton School District is moving into a new phase of its virtual learning plan. Small numbers of kids have been brought back for in-person instruction this week. Chief Financial Officer Greg Hartjes says the “Virtual Plus” model focuses on students struggling with on-line learning. The Appleton School District is also allowing optional co-curricular activities–like band and sports workouts–every other day.
