Investigators believe unattended cooking is to blame for a fire that destroys an Oshkosh house. Crews were called to the home along the 13-hundred block of Monroe Street around 11:30 this morning on the report of smoke and flames coming from the back of the building. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Seven other people were able to escape unharmed. The house is a total loss.
