Wisconsin deer hunters had a successful opening weekend. The D-N-R reports 95,257 whitetails were harvested over the first two days of the gun season. That is a two-point-three percent increase over last year. Final license sales numbers show those were up by three-point-two percent this year. The gun-deer season runs through Sunday.
