Chancellors in the U-W System will be getting raises next year. The Board of Regents approves two percent pay increases during a closed door session this week. That would match the two percent raises previously approved for employees throughout the U-W System. Madison Chancellor Becky Blank had announced that she would be taking a 15-percent pay cut for the first half of 2021–and that the deans of the schools and colleges would give up ten percent of their salaries.
