A group is updating a website that helps patients make better decisions when it comes to the cost of health care.
The Wisconsin Hospital Association added new features to its PricePoint site to include more of what’s involved when someone has to stay in a hospital.
Brian Potter is the group’s senior vice president of finance. He says they’re providing costs for additional services that could include prescription drugs and medical equipment.
The update also lets people answer a series of questions about their health care situation. They’ll be able to see the estimated charges for services for similar conditions.
