Appleton’s History Museum at the Castle is thanking the community with a free membership through the rest of the year.
“Life can be hard and challenging and confusing right now and we think that history can play a role in helping people to understand how we got to this point and what it means going forward,” shares chief curator Dustin Mack. “So we don’t want to exclude anyone who wants to take advantage of that.”
The museum’s Members Matter Program gives a free individual membership to the museum. It includes free admission, discounted programs, and free research appointments.
The museum is currently closed to the public but leaders plan to reopen as soon as local health conditions improve. For the moment you’ll find virtual programming and Get Up and Go Tours in 2021.
You have until the end of April to sign up. Visit the museum’s website for more information.
