The Keshena community is taking safety measures after meth was found in a child’s Halloween candy.
Menominee Tribal Police Chief Mark Waukau says they made sure to alert anyone who may have also trick-or-treated in the area.
Tribal leaders have set up stations for parents to get rid of any candy that may have been contaminated. They can take it to Keshena Veterans Park or the Neopit Fire Station tomorrow.
The College of Menominee is also offering kids another chance to trick-or-treat. It will be from five to seven tomorrow night at the college.
