Open enrollment for health insurance through the federal exchanges begins today.
Trish Sarvela is with the Partnership Community Health Center. She says the best advice she can give is to sign up early. She says the enrollment period is only six weeks.
It ends December 15th.
Sarvela says people should also be careful about scammers. She says they should always go to a trusted source like healthcare.gov or the Partnership.
Sarvela also says one of the options for insurance, Common Ground Healthcare, just added ThedaCare as one of its providers.
