There will be a recount in a close election that decided an Appleton City Council seat. Incumbent Kyle Lobner has requested the recount after losing to challenger Shari Hartzheim by just two votes on election night in District 13. City Clerk Kami Lynch says the recount will take place Thursday. The Appleton Board of Canvass voted to conduct a hand recount. It will likely take one day to review all of the ballots.
