The man identified as the gunman in Saturday night’s shooting at the Oneida Casino had a restraining order against him at the time. According to Brown County Court records, a temporary order was issued against Bruce Pofahl at the request of a woman on March 9th–with a permanent injunction issued on March 23rd. The complaint was based on accusations of harassment. A note in the file adds that there was no firearm restriction placed on Pofahl at the time the permanent restraining order was issued. Investigators have stated that Pofahl’s “main target” was not working at the casino restaurant on the night of the shootings.
