Road work on Highway U between I-41 and Highway S begins this morning.
Outagamie County Highway Commissioner Dean Steingraber thinks the area is very congested and the road is in bad shape.
The two mile project includes storm sewer and curb and gutter work. Highway U will also be widened.
Construction should be complete by September.
