The number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin reaches a low not seen since the early days of the pandemic. The state Department of Health Services reports just 58 positive tests on Tuesday–the fewest since March 24th of 2020. The seven-day average is now 179 new cases a day–the lowest its has been since April 21st of last year. Sixteen more deaths were added to the statewide toll–but only three of them were recent–as the state cleans up prior reporting. Three deaths were added to Fond du Lac County’s total. Outagamie County had one death added. The total number of COVID-related deaths is up to 7,094.
Outagamie County was the only one in the region to report any new cases on Tuesday–with three.
