UW-Oshkosh is offering students a chance at a $1,000 scholarship if they get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Chancellor Andrew Leavitt says they’re building off the vaccination campaign begun by System President Tommy Thompson and offering ten scholarships.
He says unlike the plan offered by Thompson, UW-Oshkosh scholarships will be offered regardless of the vaccination rate on campus. The winning students will have to show proof of vaccination. The campaign runs through October 15.
