The Green Bay Packers have already sold more than 10-million dollars in stock today (Tuesday). Thirty-three thousand shares sold in the first three hours–at 300-dollars a piece. The team is making 300-thousand shares available–which would generate 90-million dollars. The team says the money raised will be used for upgrades at Lambeau Field–starting with new video boards. The stock is basically worthless for the purchaser–as shareholders receive no dividends and do not vote on team operations.
