A 42-year old woman is in custody for the attempted armed robbery of a McDonalds in Greenville.
Outagamie County Sheriff’s officials say Melissa Mann was arrested at her home, about a half mile from the fast food restaurant yesterday. Investigators say Mann admitted to the attempted robbery and a search warrant on her home found the suspected weapon, a BB gun.
The incident happened Tuesday night at the McDonalds on Wally Way. Police are crediting an employee for providing a detailed description of the suspect, including that she had a black eye. Video from the restaurant was used to identify the suspect’s car.
