A residential fire in Appleton displaces, five adults, six children and three pets. Appleton Fire Fighters were called to a house in the 1600-block of East Capitol Drive around 11:30 Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, fire crews encountered heavy flames coming from the garage of the building. The fire was brought under control within 30-minutes. While one family pet did not survive the fire, no people were injured. That fire caused an estimated $300,000 damage.
