An early morning crash in Oconto County injures two people and claims the life of an eight-year-old girl. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office says the single vehicle accident occurred around 1:00 this morning on Highway 141/U-S 41 near Sampson Road in the Town of Abrams. The sheriff’s office says a 34-year-old man driving a pick-up truck was exiting the northbound ramp and failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle then plowed into a ditch. The driver and an eleven-year-old female were transported to a Green Bay hospital. The eight-year-old girl died at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
