Non-profit groups in our listening area are benefiting from the generosity of Alliant Energy, its employees and retirees. That combined effort generated 11-point-five-million dollars for Iowa and Wisconsin communities. That money is going to impact grants, anti-hunger programs, restoration of trees lost to severe storms and scholarships. Dodge County organizations are receiving nearly $43,00. Nearly $81,000 will go to Fond du Lac County non-profits. Sheboygan County charities will receive just over $51,000. Waupaca County community groups will receive just over $4,100 and Waushara County non-profits will get just over$2,100. A list of specific recipients can be found through the following link.
