Visitors and Oshkosh city employees won’t be required to wear masks in city owned-and-operated buildings starting next week. That follows declining coronavirus case numbers in Winnebago County. Mandatory masking expires at the end of the business day Monday, February 28th. After that masking will still be encouraged, but not required. Face coverings will still be necessary for GO Transit buses and buildings under a federal order. In addition, Oshkosh boards and commission will be going back to in-person meetings. That won’t apply to previously announced virtual meetings.
