Investigators are looking into the events leading up to the deaths of two people following a law enforcement-involved shooting in Shawano County. According to the Sheriff’s Office a deputy was called to a home along Oak Avenue in the town of Richmond around 3:55 Friday afternoon on the report of a domestic disturbance. The deputy reportedly witnessed a man at the home shoot and kill a woman, before firing at the deputy. The deputy returned fire–killing the man. The names of those involved have not been released. The deputy was not hurt. The state Division of Criminal Investigation has been called in to handle the case.
