Cleanup begins tomorrow (Tuesday) on a partial collapse of the new parking ramp adjacent to the downtown Y-M-C-A in Appleton. A portion of the second level of the ramp collapsed onto the first level on either April 1st or 2nd. Hoffman–which is the lead contractor on the project–says an investigation has not determined the cause of the collapse. Hoffman adds that it will continue with construction on the ramp–and believe that it will be safe upon completion. No one was on the job site at the time of the collapse. The project is still on pace for completion in August.
