MADISON, Wis–The weekly average of new cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin is back over 1,000 for the first time since February 21st. The state Department of Health Services reports 2,779 positive tests since Friday, pushing the seven day average to 1,071.
The positivity rate also increased from seven-percent last week to eight-point-two percent this week. That is the highest that number has been at since February 16th.
There were two more deaths reported on Monday.
