(APPLETON)– A project to revitalize Appleton’s Soldier’s Square is put on hold.
The city’s Municipal Services Committee denies a resolution that would have added the revitalization project to the five-year CIP and move on to the design phase of the project.
Alderperson Katie Van Zeeland expressed concerns about a lack of clarity on funding. She says she hasn’t seen interest from members of the public who want to raise funds.
The city did adopt a resolution that formally supports the re-dedication and revitalization of Soldier’s Square.
WHBY’s Landen Moore has the full report.
