(OSHKOSH, WI) – -An Oshkosh man is arrested and charged with Distribution and Possession of Child Pornography.
39-year-old Matheau Martinez was taken into custody Thursday after a search warrant was executed at his residence. According to court records, Martinez used “peer-to-peer” software to distribute images and videos containing child pornography.
Based on a previous conviction, Martinez is now required to register as a sex offender in the State of Wisconsin.
Martinez faces between 15 and 40 years in prison if convicted of distributing child pornography. He also faces 10-to-20 years behind bars if convicted of child pornography possession.
