Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford is hoping state lawmakers and the Governor can work together to help communities better fund infrastructure maintenance.
He told Hayley Tenpas on Focus Fox Valley, Appleton is putting the idea of a transportation utility fee on hold until the issue works its way through the court system. He thinks this could potentially take years.
According to Woodford, officials don’t want to nickel and dime residents. But he says they also want to meet expectations.
