A downtown Green Bay institution is moving. Bosse’s (boss-iz) News Stand and Tobacco Shop is closing its location in the 200-block of Cherry Street and will be relocating to South Broadway in De Pere.
The bookshop has been open in that location for 41-years. All told, Bosse’s has been located in downtown Green Bay for 124-years.
The move is required because the city of Green Bay has purchased the building housing Bosse’s has been purchased by the city of Green Bay–which will demolish it to make way for an apartment complex.
The Green Bay shop will be open until the end of November, with the new De Pere shop opening on December 1st.
