MILWAUKEE, Wis–The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows Republicans continuing to gain ground as we close in on Election Day. In the race for Governor, incumbent Democrat Tony Evers’ lead over G-O-P challenger Tim Michels is down to just one percent–47% to 46%–among likely voters. In the September poll, Evers led by three–47% to 44%.
In the race for the U-S Senate, Republican incumbent Ron Johnson is stretching his lead over Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes to six percent–52% to 46%. Last month, that race was 49%-48* in favor of Johnson.
This will be the last Marquette Law School Poll before the election.
