BELOIT, WI — The man who is a person of interest in Monday’s shooting death of a five-year-old Green Bay girl is now in custody of law enforcement officers. The Green Bay Police Department says 35-year-old Jordan Leavy-Carter was taken into custody today by Beloit Police officers. His vehicle was found in Beloit Wednesday. Authorities have been looking for Leavy-Carter since a shooting Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of Amy Street in Green Bay resulted in the death of five-year-old Skye Bleu Evans-Cowley. Green Bay Police are not releasing any further details on Leavy-Carter’s apprehension. They do say no other persons of interest are being sought in this case.
