OSHKOSH, Wis–Lori Palmeri plans to continue as Mayor of Oshkosh even after she is sworn into the state Assembly in January. Palmeri says there is precedence for holding two elected positions at once.
One of the most well known examples of having two elected positions while serving in the Legislature was “Two Job Bob” Ziegelbauer–who was Manitowoc County Executive while serving as an independent in the Assembly from 2010 to 2013.
