BERLIN, Wis–The Berlin School District identifies an 11-year old boy shot and killed while deer hunting over the weekend. Easton Thom was accidentally shot by another member of his hunting party in Green Lake County on Sunday morning.
According to the D-N-R, a 41-year old man was attempting to unload his firearm while it was on the back seat of a vehicle when the gun fired and struck Thom. He died a short time later at the hospital. An investigation into the incident continues.
