OSHKOSH, Wis–Twenty-one criminal charges are filed against the owner of a powerboat involved in a hit and run crash on the Fox River with a paddle-wheeler. Jason Lindemann’s watercraft collided with the On the Loos Cruise on the night of July 9th. Lindemann allegedly failed to stop at the scene and offer aid to those on the paddlewheeler.
The counts filed by the state Department of Justice, which was called in to handle the case, include two felony counts of Second Degree Reckless Endangerment, 18-counts of Failing to Render Aid at a Boating Accident Involving Injury, and one count of Negligent Operation of a Boat. The felonies carry up to 20-years in prison if convicted.
