APPLETON, Wis. — Polly Olson is sworn in as the city of Appleton’s next police chief.
She says she is proud to represent the Appleton Police Department as the first female police chief.
Olson outlines what she hopes to accomplish as chief.
Olson has been with Appleton police since 2001 and worked her way up to assistant chief. She takes over for Todd Thomas, who retired following eight years as chief.
