APPLETON, Wis–A Lac du Flambeau man charged in a series of physical and sexual assaults in three counties is now in state Department of Justice custody. Frank Schuman was already charged in Outagamie County Court with Second Degree Sexual Assault by the Use of Force and Battery.
The alleged victim in that incident, an Appleton woman, suffered a broken jaw. Schuman was also facing battery and Reckless Endangerment charges in Vilas and Oneida counties. The D-O-J is asking any other potential victims or witnesses to contact them.
