APPLETON, Wis–Transportation Security Administration workers find a loaded gun in a passenger’s carry-on bag at Appleton International Airport. There was additional ammunition in the bag as well. The incident took place at the security checkpoint on Monday.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was notified, but there are no details on a possible arrest. The TSA says this was the second gun confiscated at ATW this week, and the fourth such incident this year. Last year, just two weapons were confiscated at the Greenville airport.
