COMBINED LOCKS, WI — A man and a woman face drug trafficking and other charges in connection with last Friday’s police situation in the Village of Combined Locks. The Combined Locks Public Safety Department says on its Facebook page an effort by the Outagamie County Emergency Response Team to execute a search warrant led to a nearly seven-hour standoff. According to the post, a man and a woman were taken into custody at a home in the 500 block of Richard Street. They’re lodged in the Outagamie County Jail. The female suspect is charged with Harboring/Aiding a Felon, Encouraging a Probation Violation and Possession of T-H-C. She and the male suspect are both charged with Maintaining a Drug Trafficking place, Felony Bail Jumping and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. The male suspect is also charged with five additional, unspecified warrants. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the 500 block of Richard Street was limited during the long standoff.
