TOWNSHIP OF HARTLAND, Wis. — A Brown County man is dead after being hit by a semi in Shawano County.
Sheriff’s officials say the 63-year-old was walking along Highway 29 in the township of Hartland when he lunged out in front of the truck shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday.
The man died at the scene. The semi driver was not hurt.
Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
