GREEN BAY, Wis–The man found guilty in a Green Bay cold case murder will spend ten years in prison. Lou Griffin is sentenced in Brown County Court on one count of Homicide by Reckless Conduct.
Griffin killed Lisa Holstead in 1986, dumping her body in a swampy area. He was not charged until 2020, when D-N-A evidence linked him to the crime.
Griffin reached a plea deal with prosecutors on the eve of his trial, pleading down from an initial charge of First Degree Intentional Homicide.
