APPLETON, Wis. — Outagamie County voters return incumbent county executive Tom Nelson to office for a fourth term.
Nelson took 56 percent of the vote to fend off a challenge by former county supervisor Kevin Sturn.
Nelson admits this race was more of a challenge, though he believes the progress being made by Outagamie County registered with voters…
Sturn says he wouldn’t have run his campaign any differently and plans to continue serving the community…
Nelson ran a campaign for U.S. Senate last year but dropped out and supported Democratic nominee Mandela Barnes.
