OSHKOSH, Wis–More details emerge into the convoluted process of booking a high-profile concert at the Leach Amphitheater in August. Last week, the city issued a press release stating that the August 6th date for Train and Better Than Ezra was in doubt, as no one associated with the show had reserved that date.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says that did spur some initial action from the Oshkosh Arena, which was promoting the concert……………….
Rohloff expected FM Entertainment to pay the booking fee by the end of this week.
The process revealed that the Oshkosh Arena owed the city 46-thousand dollars for services provided at the facility, and that it had failed to pay its first installment of property taxes this year.
