APPLETON, Wis–A member of the Appleton Fire Department wins his battle against cancer. According to a Facebook post from the department, Keegan Murphy’s latest rounds of tests show no evidence of Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma in his system.
Murphy was diagnosed with stage three cancer in September of last year. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy, which wrapped up last month.
An on-line fundraiser continues, having brought in more than $87,000 so far.
