Jury: Taylor Schabusiness guilty on all counts

GREEN BAY, WI — After three days of testimony, it took jurors just over a half-hour to reach a verdict in the murder trial of Taylor Schabusiness. Jurors found Schabusiness of first degree intentional homicide, third degree sexual assault and mutilation of a corpse in the February 2022 death of Shad Thyrion.  During testimony Wednesday, jurors viewed video recordings of investigators interrogating Schabusiness about the sexual encounter with Thyrion and the process of dismembering his body and saying at the time she felt ecstatic about the incidents.  Though she also voiced regret to Shad Thyrion’s family for what she had done.  The juror returns at 9:15 Thursday morning to decide whether Schabusiness’s actions were due to mental disease or defect.
