Summer….my favorite time of year. Spring is fine and fall is wonderful. Winter….well, I have a love-hate relationship with winter. But summer…now you’ve hit the sweet spot.
Maybe it’s the warmth, giving us a chance to wear the same clothes at 8p as the ones we slid into at 8a. The length of the sunny days, the ability to tee it up or grab the bikes for a ride or just BBQ without hesitation….now, that’s summer.
Summer also means more access to friends, vacation trips with minimal weather disruptions and summer beverages ready to hit the blender.
Now we’re talking….and when it’s summer…I listen.
